Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. She lived off of an allowance for students and went in part-time jobs to increase her income. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other routes she could choose. Lennox played flute in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before the band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. She was the lead singer in The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut record Diva. It was released in 1993. It was an enormous hit, both in terms of selling and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz songs. In addition in May 2019 Lennox published Lepidoptera an album of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. Her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. In the following years, Lennox joined fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox started her own solo career by releasing the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was released in 1995, has versions of some of her most popular songs including No MoreI Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Her solo studio albums as well as her compilation album have a lot of songs.
