Shay Mitchell is a Canadian actor, model, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her role as Emily Fields in the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. A big fan of Jennifer Lopez Mitchell came to be known for her role as Shay Lo among her friends. Shay Lo developed an interest in the performing arts as a child and was even talking to her parents about starting a career in the same. After getting good at dance and modeling, she wanted to pursue acting. Therefore, she began taking acting lessons in Toronto. Mitchell got a few commercials and also played guest roles on television programs. Her biggest break came when she was cast in the role of Emily Fields. Fans and critics have praised Mitchell's acting skills. The Possession of Hannah Grace, Mother's Day, and Dreamland were just some of the films which made her a star on the screen. The psycho thriller You where she played the lead role, gained her greater recognition.
